Jaroslaw Chalas


Jaroslaw Chalas is one of the Attorney Coordinators for the Zumpano Patricios & Winker, P.A.’s Statellite Office in Warsaw, Poland. Mr. Chalas is also a legal adviser and the founder and managing partner of the firm Chalas & Partners Law Office in Warsaw, Poland.

Mr. Chalas focuses his practice in the areas of corporate law, civil law and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Chalas also serves as an arbitrator on the Arbitration Court of Industry and Trade Chamber in Cracow and the Arbitration Court at the Polish Confederation of Private Employers Lewiatan. In the course of his professional career, Mr. Chalas has represented the interests of some of the most prominent Polish and foreign companies. Mr. Chalas also often advises on the privatization process of state-owned enterprises.

Mr. Chalas is a member of the supervisory boards of numerous companies and served as the President of the Supervisory Board of Messenger Service Stolica S.A. and Vice-President of Radomska Wytwórnia Telekomunikacyjna S.A., specifically. He also has authored various business law articles and commentaries which have been published in various legal publications, including “Commentary on the Act on Disclosure of Economics Information” published by Difin; “Commentary on the Civil Code 2005” published by Infor; and “Commentary on the Labour Code 2005” by Infor. Mr. Chalas often appears on television and radio broadcoasts to offer legal commentary on a variety of topics.

Mr. Chalas is fluent in Russian, Italian, English, and, his native language, Polish.
