Thomas A. E. Evans


Thomas A. E. Evans is an Attorney Coordinator for the Zumpano, Patricios & Winker, P.A., Nassau, The Bahamas, Satellite Office. Mr. Evans practices law as the Senior Partner of Evans & Co.

Professional Highlights:
Mr. Evans served as Acting Justice of the Supreme Court of The Bahamas from 11th September to 31st December 1989, 29 July to 15th November 1996 and 1st February to 30th April 1998. He previously served as Stipendiary & Circuit Magistrate, and Crown Counsel in the Attorney General’s Office of The Bahamas. He was a Member of the Firm of Christie Ingraham & Co. from 1980 to 1986, and was a Partner from 1982 to 1986. He also served as Treasurer of The Bahamas Bar Association and Chairman of the Ethics Committee of The Bahamas Bar, Lecturer and Examiner of The Bahamas Bar Examinations. He is a former Director of the Central Bank of The Bahamas and Chairman of the Industrial Relations Arbitration Tribunal. He is currently a member of the Judicial and Legal Service Commission of The Bahamas and Associate Tutor in the Law of Evidence at The Eugene Dupuch Law School.

Education:
He read law at the University of the West Indies where he obtained an LL.B with 2nd class Honours Upper Division and the Norman Manley Law School.
